Gatwick Diamond Business (gdb) is a community of business - a membership organisation of 450 members, large & small.
With services ranging from networking meetings & peer-to-peer learning to the prestigious Gatwick Diamond Business Awards, our vision is to:

• help local businesses have influence and impact
• and ensure that the Gatwick Diamond remains this centre of excellence.
After 14 years in the role, our current Chief Executive, Jeremy Taylor, is moving on to new opportunities, so a new Chief Executive is being sought to drive Gatwick Diamond Business during the next phase of growth.
The Chief Executive will be responsible for developing and delivering the Business Plan that will grow membership and increase revenue through existing & additional services to members & the wider business community.
Gatwick Diamond Business is a strong voice for local business. Membership continues to grow, with gdb becoming the largest business representative group in the Gatwick Diamond with one of the highest and most respected profiles in the Coast to Capital LEP area. It continues to adapt to meet the arising challenges, to maintain an active role in consultation on topical matters and to stimulate economic growth.
To continue to be able to represent its members’ interests and provide the support that local business wants, gdb will increase its membership and income to allow these support activities to be provided.
To provide for a smooth succession Jeremy has agreed to stay in a part-time retained basis for a period to be defined, allowing the new Chief Executive to develop, while maintaining gdb’s status with high-profile members, stakeholders and committees.
The Chief Executive is responsible for managing the gdb staff & supporting the Executive Council (which currently comprises of the Chairman, Treasurer, 2 Directors, 9 elected and up to 6 co-opted members of gdb). The Chief Executive will become a Director after a period of 6 months. .
