Assurity Consulting - looking at the long term future

The Founder and the Executive Management team at Assurity Consulting have taken the opportunity to secure a management buyout (MBO), strengthening further the company's future as the UK's leading independent health, safety and environmental consultancy.

The MBO, which has been achieved with investment from Lloyds Banking Group and advice from West Sussex based lawyers Rawlison Butler, allows the company to continue to serve their customers and organically grow their business.

Paul Foxcroft, Managing Director commented, "In our 30th year in business the Executive Management team is delighted to secure the future of our company. By remaining under private ownership, we can maintain our independence so our customers continue to receive unbiased, expert advice ensuring we remain their trusted partner for workplace compliance. We will continue to invest in our business, so we can create more jobs for our local community, deliver our services more efficiently and maintain our award winning customer service. In collaboration with our customers, we will continue to make sure our services provide the reassurance and protection they need."

Paul has led the buy-out alongside the other members of the Executive Management team, which include Director of Consultancy Services Paul Phillips, Ian Woodland Director of Business Services and Greg Davies Director of Market Development. The Founder of the company, Rex Barnes will continue to be involved as Non-Executive Chairman, overseeing and advising the Board.

As a responsible business the new management team will continue to invest in their people, processes, technology and community. This will ensure the strong organic growth experienced over the last 3 decades will continue into the future with turnover expected to exceed £5 million for the first time in 2016.
