Gatwick Diamond Business is proud to have led the foundation of the newly established All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for the South East and the Gatwick Diamond Growth Gateway. This important initiative gives our region a dedicated voice in Parliament for the first time, ensuring the priorities of the Gatwick Diamond are heard at national level.

The South East and Gatwick Diamond is an economic powerhouse, contributing £41.1 billion to the UK economy and home to over 45,000 businesses. It leads in aerospace, digital technology, and clean energy innovation. The APPG will bring together MPs, Peers, and regional partners to champion this highly connected and commercially successful region, shaping national decisions on transport, skills, investment, and sustainable growth.

The official launch will take place at a Parliamentary Reception in the House of Commons on 4th February 2026. This invite-only event will celebrate this pivotal moment and outline bold plans for the future of the South East and Gatwick Diamond.

While bookings are not open to the public, we want to share this exciting development with our members and stakeholders.
