I've been proudly working for gdb since July 2016.
My role here revolves around all things Membership – from making sure our community is bustling with fresh faces (that's recruitment) to ensuring our valued members stick around (that's retention). I also have the pleasure of curating our Diamond Magazine and fostering meaningful Business Connections within our gdb community of businesses.
My mission? To be your go-to guide in making the most out of your membership! We've got around 1,400 fantastic individuals from around 360 member companies, and my goal is to ensure each one of you finds real value in what we offer. The Padel Hub Crawley has an exciting opportunity for a full time Front of House Manager to join our team!
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills with previous experience in a similar role of more than 1 year. Experience of problem resolution whilst ensuring a high standard and consistent thoughtful member service at all times. Leading a team and motivating them to sustain exceptional levels of performance.
You'll be someone who is self-motivated with a proactive, positive attitude. Being organised, flexible and an adaptable approach to work, capable of working in a changing environment.
To ensure the Front of House and bar operations follow procedures, ensure consistency of all food and drinks leaving the bar while always putting Members at the centre of everything you do to ensure an exceptional Member experience.
This role is service-focused and requires friendliness, speedy problem-solving ability, strong people skills and customer satisfaction.
Previous experience in hospitality management is preferred including conveying membership package information and collecting guest fees along with catering, bartending and food service.
