Run by the team at Brighton Chamber, Brighton Summit is their flagship event designed for the local business community, by the local business community.
In the spirit of bringing our business communities together, we've partnered up with the Chamber team to bring our members a discounted ticket – because more happens when we work together.
Not been to the Summit before? It's so much more than a conference, it's your chance to step out of the day-to-day, hear fresh perspectives and connect with the people shaping Sussex's business landscape. Create your own day with a flexible and interactive programme designed to give you space to listen, learn, ask questions, meet each other and take something valuable back to your business.
Each year, the Chamber team picks a theme to curate the day around, and this year it's Think Differently. Here's a snapshot of how the day runs, and what you can choose from:
- An opening keynote from Thom Elliot, Co-founder of Pizza Pilgrims.
- Workshops with local experts on: better decision-making, crafting your business origin story, putting AI to work in your business and small curiosity building habits for more productivity and innovation.
- Speaker sessions hearing how people and entrepreneurs think differently – from a founder of a breakthrough kombucha brand; award-winning hat business set up by a refugee; someone who’s turned their experience of prison into purpose; and a panel on what the boardroom can learn from the sports pitch.
- An hour session to try something completely different – you might write a script with an Eastenders script writer, join a sound bath, do a wine tasting, discover how to network with kindness or hear an up-and-coming Brighton band.
- With a closing keynote (to be announced...)
- And through it all, next-level networking to help you meet new people in your business community, with food and drink provided by local independents
So, come together with 400 brilliant people at Brighton Dome and Corn Exchange on 15 October.
