In this interactive session, Heidi Gibaut introduces the HR At Work Leadership Legacy Code — a practitioner framework built from leadership and board advisory work, drawing on established research in values-based leadership and behavioural psychology.

Together we'll explore the four building blocks of a leadership legacy: Values (what matters to me as a leader), Behaviours (what I do when it matters), Impact (how others experience me), and Legacy (what I'm known for over time).

What we'll cover

Personal sustainability — protecting your energy, your values and your humanity, because what you tolerate becomes your culture
Control vs. concern — what silently hijacks your thinking, from avoiding difficult conversations to choosing approval over integrity
Psychological safety — the difference between the comfort zone, the anxiety zone where most leaders live, and the learning zone where innovation actually happens
