Mark Spofforth OBE will welcome you and introduce our guest speaker Michael Ashley, Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at the Charity Commission, who will explain the Charities Commission view on the important role of trustees.


Coral Curtis, Charity Audit Manager, will address key areas in the new SORP, including examples of best practice. Rupert Moyle, Director of VAT and Duty, will then explain some of the confusing aspects of VAT for charities.


Alex Spofforth, Partner, who has substantial experience working in and with the charity sector, will offer "10 Top Tips for the Trustee Boardroom".
