Come and 'Walk Together' with Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity

Raising funds for Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity.

Join us and WALK TOGETHER on Saturday 14th September 2019 to support under 5s with Cerebral Palsy and other motor learning impairments.

A new circular walk taking in iconic South Downs landmarks starting and finishing at Bedes School in Eastbourne. The stunning location for this event will enable participants to enjoy glorious coastal views along the trail, soak up the beauty of the Cuckmere Haven and complete the famous undulations of the Seven Sisters.

Refreshments and snacks will be provided along the route. This is a great opportunity for individuals, families and friends to undertake a challenge together and make a difference, and also a fantastic team-building event for companies to help a very worthy cause.

About the Charity

Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity supports under 5s with Cerebral Palsy and other motor learning impairments realise their full potential. Parents and children work together in a supportive environment to improve a child's physical, social and emotional skills. Families attend weekly one-to-one and small group sessions based on the principles of Conductive Education. Additional services include music therapy, swimming, messy play, sensory room and an outreach support service. No referral is needed. The Charity receive no statutory funding and rely entirely on the community to raise their funds.
