The 150-acre venue offers a wide range of outdoor, indoor and covered spaces, so any size of teambuilding event can be hosted, whatever the weather may offer!
As teambuilding and corporate event experts, The Wright Event team has been delivering teambuilding events, staff away days and corporate entertainment for almost 30 years by creating non-threatening, friendly, competitive environments for teams to collaborate, communicate and problem-solve, resulting in heightened trust and openness between co-workers.
However modest or ambitious, packages of activities are designed to engage and energise small, medium and large groups. Activities can include; apache rally car driving, quad biking, 4×4 driving experiences, country pursuits, treasure hunts, it's a knockout, family fun days or problem solving workshops.
Catering is provided by local Sussex based company, Hardings Bar & Catering Services who have are adept at providing a wide range of catering options, using local, fresh produce.
There is a wide choice of hotels, guest houses and B&Bs locally or alternatively, clients can use the on-site camping facilities that include showers and toilets. Glamping options are also available via event partners.
Iain Nicol, CEO of The South of England Agricultural Society which owns the Event Centre and showground, said:
"The Society set up The South of England Event Centre to generate much-needed additional funds to support the charitable work we do, without which it couldn't operate. As such, 100% of the Event Centre's profits are gifted to the Society at the end of each financial year to enable us to support people with an interest or involvement in agriculture and other related land-based industries. As such, we hope that this new partnership with The Wright Event will help contribute to our development of the venue and support local businesses that wish to use it for their purposes".
