Arun Valley 9-Day Closure

Published: 17 May 2021

For nine days this summer, from Saturday 14 to Sunday 22 August, plus several weekends between July and October, no trains will run along much of the Arun Valley Line, from Arundel (inclusive) to Three Bridges including Horsham, and the Mole Valley Line between Horsham and Dorking.

Network Rail engineers will use the time to invest £8.5m to renew 1980s track and infrastructure, with new, more reliable equipment. Passengers are advised to plan ahead for this major work, and we will share further information ahead of the summer. For more information on the Arun Valley Line project, visit https://www.networkrail.co.uk/running-the-railway/our-routes/sussex/horsham-line-closures/

To help us communicate the closures and alternative options to passengers we want to know your travel plans over the 9-days and supporting weekends.
