A globally connected investment destination anchored by London Gatwick, the Gatwick Region is one of the UK’s most significant economic areas, contributing £165 billion in GVA in 2023 - around 7% of the UK economy. The region offers a powerful combination of connectivity, high-growth sectors and a strong pipeline of investable opportunities.

Driven by the Gatwick Region Airport Economic Zone (AEZ), this is a business-led, airport-powered partnership focused on unlocking investment, accelerating trade and growing the visitor economy.

At the heart of the region, London Gatwick continues to invest significantly in its future, with a £1.9bn Capital Investment Programme. The Northern Runway Project will unlock a further £2.2bn of investment, strengthening the airport’s role as a key driver of regional and national growth.
