Three nature reserves to visit this spring ????

Spring is a busy time for wildlife, and a perfect opportunity to get out and explore what nature has to offer.

From seeing the spring flowers burst to life to hearing beautiful birdsong, there’s something for everyone to experience. Our nature reserves are free to visit, and we’ve chosen three which are fantastic for wildlife in the spring.

Wild Coast Sussex

Wild Coast Sussex, our marine community engagement and education project, is coming to an end this month.

The project has achieved a huge amount, working with schools on the Wild Beach education programme and helping children discover the amazing Sussex coastline. Engaging with young people was a major focus, from silent disco beach cleans to citizen science training.

Wild Coast Sussex also partnered with the fishing community. They helped set up a fishing net recycling scheme and a system to report and remove entangled fishing gear from the sea and coastline with Ghost Fishing UK.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make the project such a great success.
