Outlined below are the service changes happening over the forthcoming Saturday May 5th to Monday May 7th 2018 Bank Holiday Weekend when Network Rail are carrying out improvement work in the Gatwick Airport area.
Gatwick Express
- From Saturday 5th to Monday 7th May 2018
A half hourly Gatwick Express service will operate between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport.
- On Saturday and Monday
Customers for Brighton can use Southern or Thameslink services by any reasonable route. However, please note that, on Sunday and Monday, buses will replace trains between Gatwick Airport and Three Bridges.
GWR
- There are no GWR bus replacement services scheduled to be at Gatwick Airport this weekend.
Southern
- Sunday and Monday
Buses will replace trains between Gatwick Airport and Three Bridges. Customers may also use Thameslink and the Gatwick Express on reasonable routes between London Victoria / London Blackfriars and Gatwick Airport.
Thameslink
- Saturday
Services between London Bridge to Brighton will not run.
The 22:40 Bedford to Brighton will be replaced by a bus between Redhill and Brighton.
The 23:10 and 23:40 Bedford to Three Bridges services will be replaced by a bus between East Croydon and Three Bridges.
- Sunday
Buses will replace trains between Gatwick Airport and Three Bridges.
Two trains per hour will run between Bedford and Gatwick Airport. Customers may use Southern trains between Three Bridges and Brighton.
- Monday
Trains between London Bridge and Brighton will not run.
Buses will replace trains between Gatwick Airport and Three Bridges.
Two trains per hour will run between Bedford and Gatwick Airport and between Three Bridges and Brighton.
Replacement bus timetables are currently unavailable.
