A team of 28 trekkers from ILG & GFS will take on the Three Peaks challenge in August, and will climb around 9,600 feet and have walked approx. 21 miles in little more than 24 hours.
There are numerous opportunities for businesses to show support with some exciting sponsorship opportunities available ranging from Headline , Transportation, and individual Trekker Sponsorship packages. Coordinating such an event is no easy task, and we want to ensure every penny raised by our trekkers is going toward the charity directly. We have received a wealth of support, donations and sponsorship from local businesses and are keen to engage with anyone who would like to contribute further. Together for Short Lives exist to ensure every seriously ill child and their family gets the high-quality children’s palliative and end of life care, when and where they need it. In 2024 they reached more families than ever before through their Family Support Hub. They have brought together thousands of healthcare professionals to improve the way care is delivered and have campaigned to influence laws and legislation to give long-lasting support to seriously ill children and their families.
The money we will raise will ensure that Together for Short Lives can continue to support and speak up for children and families, and those that support and care for them, by driving forward for a better quality of life and end of life for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
Whilst we can’t change the diagnosis, we can help families make the most of every moment together.
