It's difficult even to imagine how we might get our messages heard amid the noise of online content, let alone achieve it. And that's because we live in a time where posting all manner of content online because we can, outweighs because we should.

However, regardless of its quality, meaning, social value or significance, everyone believes their message is vital and has every right to be out there - and that's exactly how it should be. Online is a democracy, after all. Mostly.

So, what are you going to do about it? Sit back and put your fingers in your ears, or fight back by doing your best to out-publish your competitors?
