Martin Searle Solicitors continues to be ranked as a Leading Firm in 2023 Legal 500 Rankings

Both the Employment Law and Community Care Law teams at Martin Searle Solicitors are once again ranked in the 2023 Legal 500 listings under the "Leading Firm" category.

This is the tenth year that the Martin Searle Solicitors' Employment Law team have been listed in the Legal 500. They praised their "enthusiastic campaigning to promote equality in the workplace", particularly their annual October disability campaign, 'Disability Matters'.

Client testimonials also noted that their team displayed "loyalty, honesty, courage, integrity, fortitude, and other important values that promote a good reputation for this company", and that these values were "exhibited through their good words and actions".

An Employer client described the Employment Law team as "approachable, accessible, and prompt in responding", and that they "always demonstrate a high level of professionalism and provide clear guidance and advice". The Legal 500 also acknowledged Fiona Martin, Director and Head of Employment Law, as a "Leading Individual", whilst Laura Donnelly, Associate Solicitor, was listed as a "Rising Star".

Another client praised the support the Employment team offered at a difficult time, saying "I felt believed in, which made me stronger and gave me hope which I really needed at that time", noting the Employment team's "quick thinking, problem solving with a high level of initiative and a smooth-running workplace".

The Martin Searle Solicitors' Community Care law team was also singled out for praise. Clients described the Community Care team as "exceptionally knowledgeable, approachable and thorough", and noted that they are "well versed in supporting and resolving complex issues of Public Law and Community Care".

Clients also praised the Community Care team as "easily able to navigate the labyrinth of rules that dominate this area, providing practical solutions to difficult situations", and commented that the team are "not afraid to challenge the law to obtain the best outcomes for their clients".Cate Searle, Director and Head of Community Care Law is described as "an outstanding individual in this field. She is the unquestionable expert in Community Care Law, but alongside that, displays impeccable professionalism and integrity". They also praised Paula Jones, Associate Solicitor, as "extremely knowledgeable" with "a depth of experience in Community Care law", whilst Clare English is listed as a "Rising Star" and the "go-to team member for mandates relating to planning and paying for care, NHS Continuing Health Care funding and Court of Protection deputy applications".
