Promotion for RISE events - Launch webinars for Horizons travel and hospitality programme

Rise Horizons programme: Innovations for Tourism and Hospitality Introduction to the Series

Thursday 31 March 12-13:15 (Online)

Tuesday 5 April 12-13:15 (Online)

The RISE project, delivered by the universities of Brighton and Sussex, provides small to medium-sized (SMEs) businesses based in the West Sussex and Coast to Capital region, with fully-funded innovation support and specialist expertise to help them to innovate and grow.

We're holding two introductory events, where the RISE team will unpack the new Innovations for Tourism and Hospitality series, delivered as part of the RISE Horizons programme, and will be available to answer any questions.

The full programme will cover a range of topics, all with a tourism and hospitality focus, including (but not limited to) sustainability, diversity and inclusivity, new technologies and enhancing your customer/visitor offer - delivered through bespoke masterclasses, workshops, peer-to-peer solution-focused Action Learning Sets and 1:1 support from Innovation Advisors throughout.

Thanks to funding from West Sussex County Council and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), this programme is completely free to SMEs looking to innovate, whether it be through technological enhancement or simply improving their customer experience.

The programme also culminates with an opportunity to access an additional £5,000 of specialist support for a new business proposal or project where we can match you with university expertise to support your idea.

You can find out more about this exciting opportunity at either of our programme launch webinar sessions on:

Horizons programme launch for tourism and hospitality on Thursday 31st March 12-1.15pm

Horizons programme launch for tourism and hospitality on Tuesday 5th April 12-1.15pm

You can also join RISE as a member here to access the full programme - which is free.
