This initiative is a grant-funded programme of support to help SMEs in Surrey grow by connecting and gaining sales from other Surrey businesses, particularly the larger companies and public sector bodies. The programme of support includes:
- Free sales training with a local expert. Sessions focus on the skills needed to write tenders, confidently sell your products or services, and win contracts local to you.
- Free roadshows with guest speakers. Each roadshow will support you to grow your network, hear from local experts on topics such as procurement, competitive pricing and marketing, and see a demonstration of the new AI-powered matchmaking platform.
- Free Source Exchange events. Later in the year, we will be offering events where businesses can come along and meet with buyers and procurement teams. There will be opportunities to develop your understanding of how procurement works in the public sector and hear from guest speakers. Roundtables, where you can ask questions specific to your business will be a highlight of these events.
- **Coming soon**: Free sign-up to the new AI-powered business to business matchmaking platform. This business tool helps buyers list their contract opportunities or product requirements and reach a wide range of Surrey SMEs who can fulfil the need. It will support Surrey SMEs to grow their customer base.
