Our networking events will provide an opportunity for like-minded people to discuss business challenges and hear how others have managed them. Our aim is to provide an opportunity for businesses on a trajectory of rapid growth to gain access to, and hear from, the investment community.
We will be hosting a panel discussion and networking seminar on Thursday 29 September at Irwin Mitchell, Crawley.
We've put together a panel of experts who will share their experiences as entrepreneurs, investors or long-time advisers to the fast-growth community.
Nick Shepheard, technology company advisor and investor. Nick is a Chairman and Non-exec Director to a number of early stage, fast growth companies. He helps companies develop, enter new markets and grow or exit.
Glen Waters, Director in PwC's Deals practice. Glen has 10 years of deals experience, now specialising in getting fast growing companies ready for and finding funding. He is also a non-exec outside of work, assisting start ups with raising funds.
Leon Deakin, Senior Associate, Irwin Mitchell. Leon heads up Irwin Mitchell's TMT sector and advises a wide range of early stage businesses on employment law issues.
Topics for discussion on Thursday 29 September include:
Funding - what are the options, how best to prepare for it and what's the process?
Strategy for growth - how do you scale up a business successfully?
Contractors or employees - what is the best talent option for your business?
