Make your will and support St Catherine's Hospice

Has making or updating your will beenon your to-do list for a while? Then why not take advantage of St Catherine's Hospice Make a Will Fortnight?

From 14 to 25 May 2018, 16 solicitors across Sussex and Surrey, including Ferndown Solicitors, Lewis & Dick and Stevensdrake Solicitors in Crawley have set aside a limited number of appointments to help you make or update your will in exchange for a donation to St Catherine's.

Suggested minimum donations are:

  • £120 for a single will
  • £180 for joint wills

Having a will is the only way to make sure that when you die, those you care about will benefit in the way you'd like. And making one might be easier than you think. Hannah signed up to create her will as part of last year's Make a Will Fortnight. She said, "With two young children, writing a will was a priority but it seemed very daunting. During St Catherine's Make a Will Fortnight a solicitor answered all my questions. The scheme was a great way for me to create an essential document and support an amazing local charity at the same time."

Whilst your family and friends come first, when making your will, please consider including a gift to St Catherine's. As a local charity, the expert care and support St Catherine's provides to local people is made possible thanks to the generosity of the local community.

Andy Perry, Trusts and Legacies Fundraiser at St Catherine's said, "Currently the hospice can only care for one in three local people who need our help. A gift in your will can help St Catherine's provide more care to more people in the future. To your children, your grandchildren and beyond. It costs you nothing today to provide the gift of care tomorrow."
