As a Cornerstone Employer, Gatwick Airport are working in partnership with the Coast to Capital Careers Hub to ensure young people in the Gatwick Diamond have access to employer insight and understand what opportunities lie before them. One of the initiatives that the Careers Hub is planning to implement in the summer term (May-June) is Open Doors, an opportunity for students in year 12 to hear from recent graduates and apprentices prepared to share their experience. As well as supporting this initiative as a major employer, Gatwick are working to identify other employers in the Gatwick Diamond that might also be able to put forward 2-3 graduates or apprentices willing to join the initiative and represent their company by giving one virtual talk to a group of students in a local school or colleges.
