Welcome To Your June Newsletter!

With 3 bank holidays in the bag already and a wonderful Coronation celebrated across the world, May and early June has been great so far!
The weather is warming up a treat, we can almost taste the ice cream!

A new Gatwick Diamond Ambassador.

Congratulations to our very own Jane! She has been chosen to become a Gatwick Diamond Ambassador.
Ambassadors are chosen for being positive, friendly, and engaging individuals who genuinely advocate the benefits of GDB Membership, and naturally interact with other GDB Members and the wider business community. That describes Jane perfectly and team Delta are very proud of her!

Team Delta see the opening of the Millpond Community Hub

After many many months of hard work to bring the reality of a community hub to the Millpond adventure playground, Dave Graffham and Kathy Rogers from team Delta (as part of Inspirecastle CIC) had great pleasure in seeing the grand opening of the hub (with special guests!) alongside the brand new adventure playground on 31st May.
The aim of the hub is to provide a home to local groups and clubs with an emphasis on support and wellbeing for the local community and is already very quickly proving to be a huge success. Well done team!

Summer security tips from Delta

With the weather really heating up we thought it would be a great time to drop a few summer business security tips!

  • Double check all windows are closed at the end of the day before locking up. They're easily opened and forgotten about and could give easy access to an intruder later on.
  • Make sure fans and aircon units are switched off at the end of the day. This will eliminate them causing false alarm activations by blowing blinds or moving paperwork items.
  • As hot as it gets, don't be tempted to prop doors open or leave roller shutters up. This provides the perfect way in for an opportunist criminal or allows easy viewing for someone conducting criminal reconnaissance on your stock or equipment.

Stay safe in the heat, hydrate and most importantly enjoy it while it lasts!
