Just look at what Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) achieved in 2023!

Welcome to our January 2024 update. 2023 was once again our busy year to date, just look at what we achieved.

We attended 104 more missions in 2023 than we did in 2022

This time last year, we told you that 2022 had been our busiest year to date; now, twelve months on, we can share with you that demand for our life saving service has been superseded once again, with 2023 turning out to be the busiest year in our 34-year history.  We were called upon over 100 times more than the previous year, with a total of 3328 missions to save the most poorly and seriously injured people in our community.

It is only with the continued support of organisations like yours and its’ employees, that we can continue to save even more lives this year, as we predict that once again we will be even busier.

We are busy planning the year ahead with our partners, mapping out how we can work together to raise the increased £18.8M a year, we now need to raise, to deliver our life-saving care, that’s a cost of £51,000 a day, an average of £4,100 per mission. We are also working with our partners to arrange visits to our Redhill base to meet our crew, see the heart of the operation, and, of course, get up close to our helicopters.  If you have not yet had this opportunity, please email me to make arrangements.

Please let us know, if you would like to learn more about how you can support KSS this year and how we can work with you. We would love to catch up.

Or if you are also busy planning your year ahead, please find below some ways we can work together this year to raise the funds we need to keep our crew and helicopters in the air.
