They met Crawley College apprentices to hear about their programmes working with local employers and were informed about local 'Invest In Skills' projects. They explored the Green Village on the campus, which houses construction, tech and motoring spaces. Where green skills, such as sustainable construction, are taught, it also supports employer upskilling.
They were updated on progress of the Sussex & Surrey Institute of Technology (SSIoT), with a look at the construction work and a presentation in one of the college’s immersive media spaces. The IoT project is set for completion in Autumn 2025. Enrolment is already taking place for courses. Local companies are invited to support this exciting project.
