Creative Process Digital is now taking bookings for the Video Accelerator, a free funded video production course designed to help learners build practical creative skills, gain confidence with professional equipment and create a portfolio-ready short film.
The course is worth £2,600, but fully funded places are available for eligible learners. It is a great opportunity for anyone interested in film, content creation, social media video, freelance production work or starting a career in the creative industries.
Over three weeks, learners will explore the full video production process from idea to final edit. The course covers key skills including camera handling, sound recording, lighting, editing with Premiere Pro and production workflow. By the end of the course, learners will have planned, filmed, edited and completed their own 3–5 minute short film, giving them a strong piece of work to add to their portfolio.
The Video Accelerator is hands-on and practical, making it ideal for people who want to learn by doing. Learners will work with professional video equipment, develop creative ideas, practise shooting on location and build confidence in editing and storytelling. No advanced experience is needed, just an interest in video and a willingness to learn.
The course takes place in person at Lighthouse Brighton & Hove, giving learners access to a creative learning environment and links to the local video and film community.
