SALARY: £24,804 to £27,429 per annum for 37.5 hours per week, depending on experience (Grade NN3a-c)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our talented Catering team, with a superb kitchen at our state of the art hospice.
Are you an experienced individual, looking for a change of direction or someone who has experience of working in a health care setting where every meal matters? If you are passionate about cooking while seeking to achieve positive work life balance. Alternatively, you could be newly qualified & looking to develop your expertise across a broad range of skills within an experienced & supportive team.
We are seeking a talented & compassionate caterer to join our established team of Chefs, Catering Assistants & volunteers to deliver a high-quality, cost-effective in-house catering service. Using your skills to create fresh, well balanced, home cooked meals for our patients & staff, you will lead your shift in ensuring dietary requirements & special requests are met with care & precision.
Supporting the Kitchen Lead you will enjoy catering for small events, whilst also developing your skills in desserts & baking. Good knowledge of food safety, allergens & dietary needs will also be a key feature of this role.
The post is offered on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week on a shift basis. Your normal shift pattern will be a mix of 7.30am to 3.30pm or 11am to 7.00pm. In addition to your salary, you will benefit from a generous, enhanced pay rate for working your share of some weekends & bank holidays.
