Buxted Park Hotel, in East Sussex, is a Georgian mansion built in 1722 by Thomas Medley. Restored by architect Basil Ionides after a 1940 fire, it became a luxury hydro in the 1960s, hosting stars like Marlon Brando. From 1971–1987, it was the UK residence of Sheikh Zayed of Abu Dhabi. Now part of Hand Picked Hotels, it offers historic charm, modern luxury, and is a popular venue for weddings, meetings, and events set in 312 acres of parkland.
