Charity

The Golden Lion Children's Trust was formed in 1973 by employees of British Caledonian Airways at Gatwick Airport, to support mentally and physically disabled children and underprivileged youngsters, in Sussex, parts of Kent and Surrey, providing them with exciting day trips. This registered charity continues today and is run by volunteers organising events, educational visits, excursions, sporting opportunities as well as supplying equipment, materials and resources to schools, groups and individual families.
