Kreston Reeves’ Jihad Karambizi named ‘Emerging Dealmaker of the Year’

Kreston Reeves Corporate Finance M&A Associate Director Jihad Karambizi has been crowned ‘Emerging Dealmaker of the Year’ at the annual South East Dealmakers Awards.

Judges hail Karambizi as “a very impressive and adaptable young dealmaker… a welcome force in the dealmaking community.”

Karambizi joined Kreston Reeves in 2023 and has quickly made an impact on the firm’s corporate finance practice and its clients.

The award was given for his involvement in various transactions including the sale of Orchard Plumbing Ltd to an Employee Ownership Trust and the MBO of W W Martin Ltd.

Darren Hurdle, Corporate Finance Director, Kreston Reeves said: “This award is well deserved. Jihad exemplifies the qualities of an outstanding dealmaker - technically excellent, commercially astute and emotionally intelligent. The whole firm joins me in congratulating him on this achievement.”

Jihad Karambizi said: “I am truly honoured to win this award. I am, of course, part of the wider Corporate Finance team at Kreston Reeves. It would not be possible to achieve this award without that wider team – I am grateful to their support and encouragement.”

Kreston Reeves 10-strong Corporate Finance team closed 28 deals in the qualifying period with a combined value exceeding £1.9bn.
