Kreston Reeves launches annual Finance Focus series for businesses across London, Kent and Sussex

Accountants and business advisers Kreston Reeves are inviting finance directors, finance teams, business owners and shareholders to two free online events this July, covering the financial, tax and succession planning issues facing businesses amid continuing global economic uncertainty.

 

Finance Focus for Finance Directors takes place on Wednesday 8 July and Finance Focus for Business Owners on Wednesday 15 July. Both events are free to attend and will run online from 9.30am to 11:00am.

Finance Focus for Finance Directors will be chaired by Partner Jennifer Williamson and will explore the key financial, tax and risk management issues currently facing finance directors and their teams, together with practical strategies to support resilience, compliance, and growth.

 

Topics include:

• Economic update – presented by the Bank of England

• The audit landscape

• Corporate tax hot topics

• Tax structuring and incentives

• Business advisory and risk management

Finance Focus for Business Owners will be chaired by Partner Mike Dyer and will focus on the personal financial position of business owners and shareholders, including wealth planning, risk management and balancing business and personal financial objectives.

 

Topics include:

• Inheritance tax planning opportunities following the April 2026 changes

• Changes to pensions and inheritance tax, and related planning options

• The importance of wills, lasting powers of attorney and trusts

• Succession planning, business ownership, transition, and exit
