National accountancy and advisory firm, MHA, the UK member firm of Baker Tilly International, has moved into Crawley as part of a wider investment in the Gatwick Diamond, creating a platform for growth following its IPO and increasing demand for its services across the South East.
The AIM-listed firm has relocated from its current office in Reigate to Global House on Crawley High Street, placing its Gatwick team at the heart of the Gatwick Diamond. The move will support the continued growth of MHA’s Gatwick team, with plans to significantly expand headcount as demand increases for its audit, tax, advisory and outsourcing services.
The move underlines the firm’s commitment to providing businesses across the Gatwick region with local access to the full scope of MHA’s national expertise and Baker Tilly International’s global network.
MHA is a member of Gatwick Diamond Business and the Surrey Chambers of Commerce. Leaders believe Crawley’s position as an international business hub makes it a natural base for further expansion.
David Boosey, partner at MHA, said: “The move reflects MHA’s view that businesses in the South East benefit from working with a dedicated local advisory team that builds long-term relationships and works collaboratively to achieve their goals.
“With London Gatwick Airport, rail and road links, a resilient business base, talented workforce and strong education providers, Crawley is an ideal base for our long-term expansion plans.
“Our successful IPO last April has helped accelerate our growth and the success of our Reigate office has shown there is strong demand in this region for a full-service accountancy and advisory firm that combines local relationships with national and international reach. This move gives us the platform to grow our team, create jobs and support more businesses in this important region.”
The wider Gatwick region generated a GVA of £165 billion in 2023, according to business partnership, Gatwick Diamond Business. It is home to a diverse mix of ambitious and fast-growing companies particularly across sectors such as aviation, logistics, technology and advanced manufacturing. These businesses include global multinationals such as Elekta, Thales, Virgin Holidays and London Gatwick Airport.
MHA’s new Gatwick office includes a modern, open-plan working environment alongside meeting and collaboration spaces for clients and colleagues. The firm was recently recognised in the top 100 of the FT’s UK’s Best Employers 2026 and also achieved the Investors in People Gold Award in 2025 for the second time, which enables the firm to attract the very best talent to support its clients.
David added: “While technology and AI are transforming the way we work, they don’t replace the value of trusted relationships. Being on the ground allows us to work closely with clients, understand their businesses and support their ambitions in a way that simply can’t be delivered remotely.
“The South East and its businesses deserve the very best service, and our growing team and location helps us to continue to deliver that.”
