"Motorcycling with friends both locally and in Devon means so much to me. The use of the equipment and the various exercises are great and have helped me stay fit and improve my balance for it." says Lang.
"I am so grateful to the hospice for helping me continue doing what I love. Last year I did a tour of the Black Mountains in Wales for a couple of days, and a tour of North Devon – it was just tremendous.
"My physical health is linked with my emotional wellbeing. Once I finish a session at the gym, I feel that I’ve added to my strength for the rest of the day, or perhaps for the rest of the week."

"The encouragement from the Therapies Team, my family and friends, and the ability to get out on my motorbike, have all undoubtedly contributed towards my current wellbeing. I’m still able to work and I’m in a very happy place. I’m incredibly grateful to be able to come to the hospice. It’s so calm, serene and I feel like I belong. I consider myself to be in a very privileged position.” |
