Kate leads the Business Partnerships team at the University of Sussex connecting partners with academics across the University to deliver impactful and innovative solutions to real world challenges. Kate and her team work with partners to identify opportunities for collaboration including for contract research, consultancy services, Innovate UK funding including Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and IP licencing.
Kate brings her 8 years experience working in Higher Education along with 10 in a public sector setting and 12 in the software industry to her position on the executive council at gdb, where she seeks to make a difference by supporting and connecting fellow members across the region.
