Richard Lennard is the Economic Partnerships Manager at London Gatwick, and he joined the gdb Executive Council in 2022. His role at London Gatwick is to build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including economic development agencies, business groups, tourism organisations and local businesses. London Gatwick’s Second Decade of Change sustainability policy goals include a commitment to generate regional economic benefit. The airport’s goal for 2030 is to be a partner and advocate for a thriving resilient economy and contribute to local and regional workforce skills partnerships and initiatives, and Richard leads on the delivery of this work. Richard joined London Gatwick in 2017, initially in the Commercial team. Prior to joining London Gatwick, he had a long career in retail management and was the Store Director of a local department store.
