Deputy Chief Executive (Strategic Lead for Place) - Reigate & Banstead Borough Council

Luci Mould

Luci is a career Local Government officer with over 20 years’ experience in the sector. She is a Chartered Town Planner by training and has worked at Borough Councils, a London Borough (Unitary Council), and the London Development Agency (a former Regional Development Agency within the Greater London Authority family). She has held a variety for specialist, strategic responsibility and leadership roles in her career to date, and has been with RBBC in East Surrey since 2011. Luci takes a particular interest in workplace wellbeing, recently graduating from Sussex University’s flagship postgraduate certificate in the Psychology of Kindness & Wellbeing at Work.

Luci brings a collaborative local authority voice to the Council – one which recognises the value of partnership working and knowledge-sharing between the public and private sector, to drive economic growth. Reigate & Banstead is home to 6,800 businesses generating £7.03bn in GVA and recognises its role in the growth of the local and regional economy. With a background in planning, policy, regeneration and economic prosperity, she brings a strong understanding of the role that the public sector can play in helping to create the best possible environment for businesses to start, develop and grow. She is also well positioned to help both the Council and the Membership navigate the Local Government Reform changes on the horizon.
