B Corp certified B2B PR agency Midnight has been appointed by specialist ethical insurance intermediary Surewise to build its reputation and authority amongst local authorities, care organisations, insurers and communities it serves across the UK.
Essex-based Surewise provides insurance for some of the most vulnerable people through a partnership with SAGIC, the Salvation Army General Insurance Corporation, whose profits support Salvation Army charities. Its annual Safer Mobility campaign uses Department for Transport data, working with road safety partnerships to reduce deaths and injuries among mobility scooter users.
Alex Hankinson, joint managing director at Midnight, said: “Surewise is exactly the type of client we look for – a business where purpose is genuinely baked into how they operate.
“They partner with an ethical underwriter, use their own claims data and resources to campaign for safer roads and advocate for people who too often get overlooked by mainstream insurers.
"They join our portfolio of purpose-driven businesses in financial services that includes Howden, KYND and Health Shield Friendly Society – all of whom are proof that doing the right thing and running a successful commercial business can go hand in hand.”
Midnight will support Surewise to build its profile across trade and sector press and national media, while amplifying its Safer Mobility campaign to reach local authorities across the UK.
Richard Hannan, co-founder of Surewise said: “We are thrilled to be working with the team at Midnight. During our selection process, they stood out for their fresh perspectives and proven track record of helping brands tell their stories in meaningful ways.
“Their team has already shown a great deal of passion for our business, and we are very confident that their support will be instrumental in the next chapter of our growth.”
